By continuing your interactions with us, such as by submitting Information to us, or using our Services, you confirm that you understand and consent to the collection, use, disclosure, and processing of your Information (or the information of any individual you provide) as described in this Privacy Policy.
COLLECTION AND USE
Personal Information given through online registration forms, newsletter subscriptions, email, phone, feedback forms or any other communication channel will be kept strictly confidential.
Depending on the nature of your interaction with us, some examples of Personal Information which we may collect directly from you include:

Our staff may look at your registration form to help determine your level of need and has access only to your name, phone number, and email address for the purposes of booking appointments. This person does not read your case file and does not have access to your Confidential Information. Only your therapist is allowed access to your case notes.

Third party service providers who support the operation of the Services such as to facilitate payment processing, support technology or infrastructure, cloud storage, conduct market research, marketing analytics, detect fraud, verify identity and perform audits or other functions.

Regulatory authorities when we are legally required to disclose Personal Information or to provide the Services to you, including to comply with a legal obligation or processes, enforce our terms, address issues relating to security or fraud, or to protect our customers. These disclosures may be made with or without your consent, and with or without notice, subject to and in compliance with the terms of valid legal process, including but not limited to regulatory queries or requests, subpoenas, court orders, or search warrants.

This information may include Personal Information such as, office visit notes, billing invoices for insurance claims, insurance authorisations, and Confidential Information, such as, diagnostic or treatment information relating to mental health or psychiatric conditions; information pertaining to being a victim of, or counselling about, domestic abuse, neglect, or violence.
Other healthcare professionals and/or institutions who we offer our Services in conjunction with.
Legal professionals or other healthcare professionals, for the sole purpose of obtaining advice in connection with our legal or ethical obligations;
A provider or broker of the our professional indemnity insurance, in connection with any claim or potential claim, or any complaint or potential complaint, by any person against us; and
Any relevant and/or necessary persons, authorities or organisations in the event that we in our professional opinion determine either you or others are at risk of significant harm to yourself or others.
Any other authorised party if you have requested (as part of the Services provided to you).
We respect your privacy and will not sell Personal Information to any third party such as list brokers, mail-order businesses, or telemarketers. We may disclose data and aggregate statistics about users of our Services and sales to prospective partners, advertisers, sponsors and other reputable third parties in order to describe the Services, deliver targeted advertisements or for other lawful purposes, but these data and statistics will not include information which can be used to identify you.
Where you have engaged our services on behalf of another person, we are not obligated to disclose, reveal or transfer any information from the Services to you unless we in our professional opinion determine either the subject of those sessions or others are at risk of significant harm to himself/herself or others.

When you use a link online to visit a third-party website, you will be subject to that website’s privacy and security practices, which may differ from ours. You should familiarize yourself with the privacy policy, terms of use and security practices of the linked third-party website before providing any information on that website.
TRACKING TECHNOLOGIES
The Site uses tracking technologies on our Services. These enable us to understand how you use our Services which, in turn, helps us to provide and improve them. However, the tracking technologies do not access, receive or collect information which can be used to identify you. Below are some examples of the tracking technologies used on our Services:

Cookies are used for a number of purposes, including to display the most appropriate content based on your interests and activity on our Services, estimate and report our Services’ total audience size and traffic, and conduct research to improve our Services. ACCESS & UPDATING YOUR INFORMATION
You can update your information at any time by contacting us at info@ardellepsychology.com. If you believe that the Personal Information we hold about you is incorrect, incomplete or inaccurate, you may request us to amend it. It is your obligation to ensure that all Personal Information submitted to us is complete, accurate, true and correct.
Additionally, you may request access to any of your Personal Information that we hold about you at any time by contacting us at info@ardellepsychology.com. Where we hold information that you are entitled to access, we will try to provide you with suitable means of accessing it (for example, by mailing or emailing it to you).
We may charge you a fee to cover our administrative and other reasonable costs in providing the information to you. We will not charge for simply making the request and will not charge for making any corrections to your Personal Information.
You have the right to request to view a copy of your Confidential Information as long as it does not cause you or anyone else harm to do so, or for other reasons outlined by applicable laws. Because the records are written by professionals, they can be misinterpreted by non-professional readers. If you want to see your Confidential Information, you may schedule a session and request to view it with your therapist so that they may discuss and explain the contents with you. However, we reserve the rights to reject any request to view the case record if it does not benefit your therapeutic journey.
Additionally, there may be instances where we cannot grant you access to Your Information that we hold. For example, we may need to refuse access if granting access would interfere with the privacy of others or if it would result in a breach of confidentiality. If that happens, we will give you written reasons for any refusal.
WITHDRAWAL OF CONSENT
You may withdraw your consent for the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information in our possession by giving us a notice via email at info@ardellepsychology.com. We will process your request within twenty-one (21) business days upon receiving the request.
Once your request has been processed, we will cease collecting, using or disclosing Personal Information unless it is required or authorised under applicable laws, and within 30 days therefrom we will remove your information from our database.
You choose not to receive our newsletter by selecting the unsubscribe option which we provide in each email sent to you, or via sending us an email at info@ardellepsychology.com.
PROTECTION
We keep your information for as long as necessary to fulfill our obligations under the Code of Ethics published by the Singapore Psychological Society https://singaporepsychologicalsociety.org/wp-content/uploads/2022/06/SPS-Code-of-Ethics-1st-Edition.pdf, and to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Privacy Policy unless otherwise required by law. We maintain control of your information and protect your information using technical and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration.
We have procedures in place to manage any suspected breach of your information and will notify you and any applicable governmental authority of any actual or suspected breaches of your Personal Information where we are required by contract or law to do so.
CHANGES TO PRIVACY POLICY
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices and Services. If we make any material changes in the way we collect, use, and/or share Personal Information that may impact you, we may notify you by sending an e-mail to the e-mail address you most recently provided us in your account, profile or registration (unless we do not have such an e-mail address), and/or by prominently posting notice.

DISCLAIMER
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable in any event for any special, exemplary, punitive, indirect, incidental or consequential damages of any kind or for any loss of reputation or goodwill, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), equity, strict liability, statute or otherwise, suffered as a result of unauthorized or unintended use, access or disclosure of Personal Information.
DISPUTES
In the event of any disputes arising from this Privacy Policy, you must first contact our Data Protection Officer regarding your concern and use your best endeavours to amicably settle any dispute in good faith. We on our part will also use our best endeavours to amicably settle your concerns in good faith. However, if no amicable resolution is reached within thirty (30) days, you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Singapore.
GOVERNING LAW
The terms and conditions of this Privacy Policy are governed by the laws of Singapore.
